ACWA is excited to announce the launch of our Shared Lives Relative Kinship carer training package, designed to be delivered one to one in relative kinship carers’ homes.
This brand new package is based on ACWA’s existing Shared Lives Foster Carer training package, covering the essential topics of developmental trauma and repair parenting.
Like our Foster Carer package, it is delivered in two parts and contains additional material addressing issues of grief and loss, shame and family dynamics.
It is designed to be customised to suit the relative kinship carer’s particular caring circumstances and can be delivered flexibly.
Shared Lives Relative Kinship is available for all staff who have previously attended Shared Lives training.
