Changes to driving lessons: Obtain a licence
This Obtaining a Drivers Licence factsheet outlines changes in the Guidelines for driving lessons. Instead of simply funding 10 driving lessons, the aim is now more clearly to obtain a licence, not just the delivery of a set number of lessons.

Information Pack
This Leaving Care Pack aims to support further learning and sharing in your organisation.

Updates to FACS website: Leaving care planning
FACS has also streamlined its website content targeting caseworkers to assist with leaving care planning. This includes how to link to key supports and services associated with culture and connection, health and wellbeing, education, training, living skills, legal matters etc. Content targeting young people has has also been simplified. Information for children and young people identifies support services available to help ease the transition to independent living, both during leaving care and aftercare.

List of available Aftercare Services
While agencies should include after care supports and follow up as young people turn 18, some young people may need to be referred to an Aftercare Service. For a list please visit NSW Aftercare Services.
