Centre for Community Welfare Training
The Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT) provides cost effective and accessible training opportunities for people working across the community welfare sector in NSW, in particular those working with vulnerable children, young people and families. CCWT is the training arm of the Association of Children's Welfare Agencies (ACWA), a Registered Training Organisation.
CCWT provides both short courses and in-house training as well as specialised programs, coaching and supervision.
For almost 20 years, ACWA has developed resources to train and assess carers. These resources, known as Shared Lives and Step by Step, are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they effectively meet the contemporary needs of the sector.
