New Workshops on the Way at CCWT

Join CREATE Foundation for this half-day course, Voice Your Choice – Supported Decision Making Training for Workers, that will empower and up-skill professionals who are working alongside young people with disability to assist them in transitioning from the care system.

Increase your confidence and competence in promoting children’s voices by joining Paula Hayden in her new workshop ‘KiDs SAY: Participation Power & Purpose – Providing Opportunities for KiDs Strengths, Hopes and Concerns to Drive Practice’.

This workshop introduces participants to key sections of the Children and Young Person's (Care and Protection) Act 1998 as it applies in NSW. We will explore alternative options to long-term care orders, care plans, care orders, legal reporting obligations, alternative dispute resolution options and the Children's Court in NSW.
