To support capability development in the non-government organisation (NGO) sector, the Social Innovation Council has designed the NGO Benchmarking model.
Following public consultations held earlier in the year, the model is now live and NGOs have until the end of September to complete a voluntary self-assessment.
The NGO Benchmarking model is a self-assessment tool that aims to help NGOs deliver efficient, high quality and innovative programs and services.
Under the model, NGOs can self-assess against core customer-centred service delivery capabilities and access resources and training to support their continuous improvement.
The next four months will see NGOs using, testing and providing important feedback, which will inform how the model is used in future.
